Hey all, Believe it or not, I got David Ford featured on this weeks episode of Filmspotting..... an email here and an email there, and whallla, It's done..... David Ford exposed to the world via Filmspotting... I hope it helps...... Rock on David!!!

Now, the really good stuff.... the X-Files Movie Trailer is out, go check it...... looks good, it's not all Aliens and stuff, but more along the lines of the Crimefighting/mystery vain of story..... July 25th, can't wait....

We were out driving to the stores at Kendig the other night, and passed the barn with the brewery in it, that just happened to be open to the public later in the evening, so on the way home we stopped at Spring House Brewery and bought a Growler of the new Imperial Red, which is very good stuff..... It sounds like they have that and a Pale ALe called Seven Gates Pale Ale as their signature brews....




The Brewery is located about a mile north of Conestoga, PA, right on the main drag, or just about Two miles south of New Danville, PA on the same main drag....... Seems as though they are gonna try to be open on Monday and Wednesday evenings with Tastings and sales of the beers in Growlers, or the Pale Ale in cases.... some of the bars in Lancaster and York Counties also have the Beers on Tap, with listings on the website and the Myspace Page

Ehem.... anyway, welcome my old Band mate and buddy from wayyy back to the BLogosphere......... Linky to Joel's wayyy tooo serious blog! Well, ok, much more serious than this one, that's for sure..... I just found it via FoolBlog Carls Blog, which I can't take full advantage of here at work since they block the old Youtube here... hmmm

Saw the Cure last night at the Patriot Center down at GMU outside of DC.. It was a kick ass show, and they played everything, and it lasted three hours and ten minutes......man o day...!! I took some crap pics with my new/old phone... they suck cause I never did set up the camera and it was set to the lowest resolution... Duh!

Anywhoo.

Awwwwww, to hear those words, was being the one to focus on, makes my very sad indeed. The Don and Mike Show is no longer.... Don Geronimo, the first half of the duo, Retired earlier in April, three years after his wife's tragic passing in an automobile accident. Three times since then he has tried to quit the show, and I guess it all finally got the better of him........
Things don't last forever, but the Don and Mike show has been a big part of my life, even though I didn't get to listen to it all that much. Listening to them got me through some really rough times back in the mid nineties, and all throughout the last few years, it was nice to know you could switch that radio dial and find the same show that made you laugh and feel like you did all those times before, but with new content and up to date topics.
I wish Don the best at taking the time, and Mike O'Meara the best at keeping the remnants of the show alive in a new fashion, as any true professional broadcaster would. Keep on keepin on Mike! I hope to find you somewhere on the radio dial real soon!

David FOrd did a Friday Free at Noon SHow at World Cafe LIve for WXPN. We made it there to see him and drop off the picture book that Kim made from the show at the TLA last week. We got to meet up afterward, had a long chat with Joe and Dave, David's short term "Band" Mates, while David signed autographs and met with fans for almost an hour. Then it was our turn and gave him the picture book and had a chat, then it was time for a picture. He even signed some of the shots she took for us, one even to Penn Manor High School!

Hopefully soon, I'll be doing a full length Featuresqe story about the experience, but for now all I can say is wow! What a show, too short, but very cool, and he had some mates from home onstage with him, Joe playing the electric suitcases, and Dave playing second guitar..... We got Kim a photo pass, so we were right up front and she was allowed to take her "Professional" camera in... I had my digital, but with a busted screen I couldn't figure out how to turn off the flash, so I ended up with some shots off of my camera phone...... so that's all I have at the moment. Kim is developing and proof printing her shots, so when we figure out which ones to use, we'll print them and I'll scan them and get them on here as part of the article.
